In the foreground is "Horizon" a work by Anne Graham and at the opposite end of the exhibition space is Paul McCormick's "Folding in the rift zone". The work by Graham consists of a vitrine containing the red clay of the Broken Hill region and McCormick's piece is made from the same clays but formed and fired. These two works both physically and conceptually contain the parameters of the exhibition which features works by postgraduate students and staff from the School of Fine Art at the University of Newcastle, Australia. The exhibition is the outcome of a field-trip made to Fowler's Gap in April 2000.
